Blocky Bulldogs Kennel
About Us
We are breeders of the American Bulldog and are located in Sweden. Blocky Bulldogs consists out of
Andreas (APA WP judge),
Martin (ABRA show judge) and
Mårten (doghandler for a drug K9 unite).
Our breeding program is based upon carefully selected lines directly imported from the states and their offsprings. We only work with the standard type of the American Bulldog and are very selective.
What defines us as a kennel is that:
- We are open with our healthtests and the dogs main pros and cons
- We do not sell our dogs to anyone nor use regular salesites
- We have breeding restrictions on all our offsprings with very few exceptions
- We do not keep our dog chained or kenneld but in active homes
- We are formost looking for active working homes rather then pet material
- We have based our foundation with a large number of dogs of specific lines to be able to be selective
- We always keep dogs from each combination since we do each breeding with the main goals of the program in mind
- We linebreeds and has indepth knowledge of the dogs
- We demand that the owners temperament tests and HD/AD xrays the dog
- We grants the new owners access to our private forum where we can keep track of the dogs development, share thoughts and keep in touch
- We DNA types each litter to be able to prove its origin
Goals
We have as one of our main goals to get this breed into active working homes so it can be shown where it has potential. We firmly bealive that this breed, when well bred, has the pontetial to go far in more then field.
Therefor most of our dogs produced are not ment or even suitable as merely pet material.
They come with a certain responsibility due to their drives and prey.
With that said they make excellent family pets but its not their main purpose.

Breeding goal
Our ambition is high and every breeding is done with both the main as well as the individual goals i mind.
We are devoted to create a line of healthy American Bulldogs with an high work ethic, that is not only representativa of our view upon the ideal dog, but also that reproduces themself true to type with common pheno/genotypes.
Our goal explained as simple as possible is to create a solid mainstrain of the American Bulldog that is social, with solid nerves, good on/off switch, well balance defence and without sound nor enviroment sensitivity.
A body that embodies "form follows functions" which lets the dog move freely with grace and strength, a natural wind, with a solid mouth and scissor bite. A bodysize suitable for work, alot of prey and courage.
We put alot of value into the dogs temperaments and therefor evaluates it heavily.
